Have you noticed the beautiful colours of the calyx that holds the cornflower’s petals? 

I have set 20 natural green and blue sapphires and 5 natural rhodolite garnets into the sterling silver calyx. (They go all the way around.) The silk threads are tied inside.

The thistle is approximately 21mm. Including the bail it measures approximately 32mm
