Art nouveau leaf earrings with sapphires

Art nouveau inspired flowing curving leaf shapes with natural midnight blue Australian sapphires for a bold contrast.

I have hand set these sapphires and hand engraved the flowing lines using my graver (a hand held cutting tool which uses my strength and control only, so there is no machine involved.)

These earrings measure 33mm from top point to bottom point and 18mm across at the widest point.

I make many of these earrings but they are all different as I engrave each one by eye, and all gemstones aren’t created equal.

I love engraving with a graver, the process, the simplicity, the skill and the result. You just can’t get that bright sparkle and hand crafted feel with laser cut or cast or roll printing techniques.
